Thanks for considering our Fall FUNdraiser Ride supporting Wrestling MS!

To help you know what to expect, here’s some general event info:

Date: Saturday, October 7th (Rain reschedule date: Sunday, October 8th)

Location: James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area; 12405 SE Ranson Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO 64082

Tentative Event Timeline:
8:00 – 9:00 a.m. Registration and light breakfast
9:00 – 9:45 a.m. Prep for ride! Get your tires aired up, your riding clothes layered on, etc.
9:45 – 10:00 a.m. Welcome message and group photo
10:00 a.m. Start riding!
10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Morning riding time! Riders can ride however many laps around Reeds Wildlife as they’d like. We’ll have rest stop snacks and drinks at the park pavilion, so ride a couple laps, stop to refuel and socialize, then keep riding!
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch! Open to those who are riding and any supporters who join us (please register for the event if you are going to eat lunch–even if you aren’t riding–so we have an accurate headcount for lunch)
12:30 – 1:00 p.m. Announce and award the top fundraisers
1:00 p.m. Thank-you message
After 1:00 p.m. Anyone who wants to continue riding to get more miles and work towards their elite status (or just enjoy the beautiful weather!) is welcome to continue riding. We’ll leave rest stop snacks and beverages at the pavilion for those who continue on.
*Throughout the ride, there will be a hang-out area at the pavilion for kids and other people who want to support but not ride. Lawn games, music, etc. for entertainment!
Cost to Ride: Free! We do highly encourage you to use this ride as an opportunity to fundraise in support of Wrestling MS. The money raised for this event will support Wrestling MS and our mission to put people with MS on bikes and on the road to a better life. You’re also welcome to make a small donation to Wrestling MS to help support our Fall FUNdraiser when you register (this will help cover our costs of breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks, t-shirts, etc. AND, of course, help us put more people on bikes!)
